Fred's Plumbing & Heating Designed: July 2003 http://www.callfreds.com/ Rennovated existing design from client's previous web design firm in order to provide navigational expansion for future capabilities, such as online ordering of home heating oil delivery (functional since October 2003). Due to budget and schedule limitations, the overall design concept of the existing site, including color scheme, was retained and enhanced to provide for new functionality. |

fyou.net Designed: January 2003 http://www.fyou.net/ Internet startup specializing in fee-based anonymous postal delivery of offensive greeting cards required a somewhat edgy design to capitalize on the visitor's anger by utilizing "angry" colors such as black and red, as well as sharp, high-contrast demarcations between regions of the design. Client requirements led to major overhaul of the Magic Web Works e-commerce platform, which now supports per-item ship-to addresses and back-end web-based item image uploads, in addition to many other impressive new features. |

Site incorporated existing logo and homepage copy from customer's existing print brochure design, as well as product photography from their supplier's web site. |

Lampron Energy (Site Temporarily Offline) Designed: June 2002 http://www.lampronenergy.com/ Mirror: http://lampron.magicwebworks.com/ (for New England Computer Technologies, LLC) Designed site to customer specifications for branding and content. Devised method for sourcing gas station/convenience store business by utilizing regularly-updated printable coupons on the site. Implemented then market-exclusive online home heating oil delivery ordering system with live credit card and electronic check processing in order to add value to customer's service offering. Added weather alert email list system in January 2003 to enhance customer engagement during key heating season. Added online account access system in July 2004 to enable customers to view account history, make payments and enroll in budget plans. Account access system required installation of customized Linux-based platform integration server at the client's location to securely broker communication between legacy backend systems and web server. Customer has seen remarkable success with their highly profitable web presence. |

Target market necessitated use of soft, feminine color cues in order to enhance visitor comfort, maximizing duration of visit. Site includes full shopping cart and secure checkout system with live credit card transaction processing. Same e-commerce platform developed for The Celtic Shoppe, described below. |

NewsPath Network (Site Defunct) Designed: February 2001 http://www.newspathnetwork.com/ Mirror: http://npn.magicwebworks.com/ Developed site for new public relations firm specializing in high-tech industry. Site includes press release system which allows the customer to enter press releases into a back-end administration system which publishes them to the site homepage. Visitors can view press releases by date or by company, and can send releases to other people via email using a pop-up interface. Also added article system to allow the customer to create "sticky" content in order to cultivate customer demand. |
